João Baptista Borges, the Minister of Energy and Water, has been in the People’s Republic of China since the 17th and is set to return on June 22. He is attending the 15th edition of the International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum (IIICF) in Macau, China, which is being held under the theme “GREEN INNOVATION, DIGITAL CONNECTIVITY.”

In addition to his participation in the conference, the minister is carrying out a full work schedule that includes high-level meetings and visits to the exhibition of Chinese companies at the forum, focusing on those involved in the energy and water sectors.

Today, as part of his agenda, the Angolan minister visited the SiNOMACH-CMEC booth. During this visit, he witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between GAMEK and SINOHIDRO for cooperation on projects involving power plants, transmission lines, and substations in Angola. This agreement aims to enhance the country’s energy and water infrastructure.
